An Autumn Tradition
There has been a Pumpkin Patch at Tattershall, Lincolnshire since 2019 when we introduced ‘Pumpkin Picking’ as an activity for the families visiting Tattershall Farm Park and gave the children a free pumpkin as part of our offer.
Each year the Pumpkin Patch at the farm grew in popularity and became more and more beautiful as we added more and more stunning Autumn photo opportunities to the mix.
In 2023 when we planted and grew our very first Pumpkin Patch and Maize Maze. Fast forward to this year when we planted over 30,000 seeds and have harvested thousands of pumpkins across 75 different varieties. As well as the traditional orange carving ones, we grow pumpkins and squashes in all shapes and sizes, from tiny munchkins right up to our giant whoppers. Pink, blue, yellow, green, knobby, and even ones shaped like ducks….
What began as a small (but beautiful) pumpkin patch within Tattershall Farm Park has blossomed into one of Lincolnshire's favourite Autumn destinations, welcoming returning families and first-time visitors alike to enjoy a truly memorable, free entry day out.
